General Precautions Before and After Aesthetic Treatments
Aesthetic treatments are safe and effective when performed under medical supervision and supported by proper care. Following the right precautions before and after each procedure helps improve results, reduces side effects, and ensures smooth healing.

Before Treatment: Important Precautions
1) Before any skin, hair, laser, or anti-ageing treatment, a medical consultation is essential. Inform your doctor about existing medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, or previous treatments.
2) Avoid active infections, open wounds, or inflammation in the treatment area.
3) Stop using retinoids, exfoliating acids, or harsh skincare products at least 3–7 days prior (as advised)
4) Avoid sun exposure, tanning, waxing, threading, or bleaching before laser treatments
5) Refrain from alcohol and smoking 24–48 hours before injectables like Botox, fillers, PRP, or IV drips
6) Stay well-hydrated and have a light meal before treatments like PRP or IV therapy
7) For hair treatments, arrive with a clean scalp unless advised otherwise

After Treatment: Essential Care
Post-treatment care is just as important as the procedure itself. Mild redness, swelling, or sensitivity is normal and usually temporary.
After Laser Treatments
1) Avoid sun exposure and strictly use sunscreen
2) Do not scrub, exfoliate, or use heat treatments for a few days
3) Avoid hot showers, steam, and workouts for 24–48 hours

After Chemical Peels & Medifacials
1) Expect mild dryness or peeling—do not peel skin manually
2) Use gentle cleanser and moisturiser only
3) Avoid makeup, sun exposure, and active skincare for a few days

After Botox & Fillers
1) Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area
2) Stay upright for at least 4 hours after Botox
3) Avoid heavy exercise, alcohol, and heat exposure for 24 hours.

After PRP, Mesotherapy & Hair Treatments
1) Do not wash hair or scalp for 24 hours (or as advised)
2) Avoid oil massage, heat styling, and sweating for 48 hours
3) Mild soreness is normal and settles on its own.

After IV Drips
1) Drink plenty of water
2) Resume normal activities unless advised otherwise.

Why These Precautions Matter?
Each treatment works by stimulating the skin or scalp’s natural repair process. Proper precautions reduce the risk of pigmentation, infection, bruising, or delayed healing and help achieve safe, natural, and long-lasting results.
Always follow your doctor’s personalised advice, as individual skin and hair needs vary. Consistency, patience, and proper care are key to successful aesthetic outcomes
